Delete your account

The quickest way: in the app

Open Nirana and go to Profile & settings → Account → Delete my account. You will see exactly what is about to be removed, and it takes two taps to confirm. Deletion happens straight away — there is nothing to wait for and no one to email.

If you cannot open the app

If you have uninstalled Nirana or cannot sign in, email contact@nirana.app from the address your account uses, with the subject Delete my Nirana account. Writing from the account's own email is how we confirm the request is really yours. If you cannot, tell us the email address on the account and we will verify another way before deleting anything.

Deleting only part of your data

You do not have to close your account to have data removed. If you would rather keep your account but clear what it holds, email contact@nirana.app with the subject Delete my activity history, from the address your account uses. We will remove your saved items, the sessions played against your contact and the visit days, and leave the account itself alone. Tell us if you want something narrower and we will do that instead.

What is deleted

• Your account and the email address it was created with.
• The name you gave us during onboarding.
• Your saved items, recently opened sessions and visit days, where you turned on “Sync my progress”.
• The record of sessions played that is held against your contact.

What is not, and why

• Anything kept only on your own device goes when you uninstall the app.
• Your payment details are handled by Apple or Google. We never see your card number, and we cannot cancel a subscription for you — use your App Store or Google Play account settings for that. Where you have subscribed, we hold a record of whether your subscription is active, through the payments provider that runs it for us, because the app has to know what you have access to.
• We may keep limited records where the law requires it — for example tax records of a purchase. These are not used for anything else.

How long it takes

We action deletion requests within 30 days and confirm by email when it is done. Backups are overwritten on their own cycle, and anything remaining in them is not used or restored.
